Letter From Superintendent

As we head into December, I want to take a moment to recognize the heart and hustle this little school shows every single day. The first half of the year has flown by, and that’s because our staff, students, and families have been moving full speed—learning, creating, problem-solving, and building a community we’re proud of.

This month is always a whirlwind: holiday events, winter activities, assessments, concerts, and the seasonal chaos that somehow makes schools feel even more alive. Through all of it, our students continue to grow, our teachers continue to pour into them, and our families continue to support us in every way possible.

As we wrap up the calendar year, I’m grateful for the teamwork, the communication, and the flexibility that keeps everything running smoothly. We truly are a small but mighty school, and that shows in everything from our classrooms to our community events.

I hope your winter break is full of rest, family, and whatever brings you peace after a very full first trimester.

Thank you for sharing your children with us and for trusting us with their learning and their hearts.

Here’s to a strong finish to 2025 and an even better start to the new year.

Warmly,
Melissa Schnitzmeier
Superintendent/Principal

Mr. Frank returned today, and we’re so glad to have him back in the building. He’ll be jumping right back in with the class and will resume his regular classroom newsletters next month.

In the meantime, thank you for your patience and support. The students have handled the transition well, and we’re looking forward to finishing out December strong.

If you have any questions before the next newsletter is sent out, feel free to reach out to the office.

Panther PTA Message

Happy December, Panther families!
We’re heading into winter break with one of our favorite traditions: Santa’s Secret Shop!

🎁 Santa’s Secret Shop – December 16 & 17
Students will have the chance to shop for small, affordable gifts for loved ones. It’s always a highlight—nothing beats watching kids proudly pick out the “perfect” present for their families. Teachers will share class shopping times, and we’ll provide bags so gifts stay a surprise.
If you’d like to volunteer, let the office or a PTA member know. Extra hands are always appreciated!

🖤 Panther Merch Makes Great Gifts!
Don’t forget to check out our Panther Merch Store for hoodies, tees, beanies, and other school gear. Panther gear makes great, affordable Christmas gifts for students, siblings, and grandparents who want to show their Panther pride.

Thank you for supporting the PTA all year long. Every event, every fundraiser, every volunteer moment makes a difference in our small but mighty school community. Wishing all our Panther families a warm and joyful holiday season!
