Hi, I am Mrs. Burns and I am proud to say that I teach at Pioneer School. Pioneer School has full day kindergarten and you are invited to stop by often to see what is going on in our class.
I graduated with a degree in Elementary and Special Education from MSU – Billings. In the past I have taught kindergarten, gifted and talented, P.E., and fourth grade at Pioneer School. This year I will be teaching kindergarten. I’m looking forward to this new challenge and a great year with the Pioneer students.
I grew up in the Huntley Project area and still reside there. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and we have two wonderful children. Mitchell is a 7th grader and Megan is a 5th grader who attend Huntley Project. I graduated from MSU-Billings with a degree in Elementary and Special Education and this is my 16th year at Pioneer School. We love to spend our summers camping and going to the races.

Snacks are served from a community supply. Please bring in 2 large boxes/bags of a non-sugary snack. Examples: Cheerios, Teddy Grahams, Goldfish, Fruit Snacks, Pretzels, Granola Bars, Chex Mix, Carrots, Cheese Sticks, Crackers or Raisins. Also, fresh fruits and vegetables are a great snack.
In Kindergarten we want to provide a fresh snack each week, but we need your help. There will be a sign up sheet at Open House. You will be asked to help replenish this supply throughout the year.
