Welcome to Pioneer Elementary School

Pioneer School Garden 2017

With a student-to-teacher ratio of 8 to 1, our little school excels at providing K-6 students an educational foundation that is second to none!  Take some time to peruse our website or call to schedule a tour!  Don't take our word for it... see for yourself! See us in the Great Schools Listing.

Pioneer Elementary is a small school located just past Billings Heights off of Old Highway 312.  With 112 years of history, Pioneer provides a level of personalized education to area youth that only a small school can do.

Our young panthers have access to a full array of classroom technology tools that help to transform students learning; creating new possibilities for exploring and sharing knowledge.  Pioneer’s curriculum and programs support social and emotional growth, strengthening our mission to help all students become successful learners, caring individuals, and responsible citizens.

We’ve recently acquired a schoolyard habitat and garden!  The planning, design, and on-going monitoring of our garden will offer endless opportunities to meet and exceed high academic standards across the curriculum.  Our outdoor science lab will support and deepen the quality of instruction and student engagement while teaching our young panthers real-life skills.

Pioneer School has a variety of special programs for students, faculty, parents and guardians. There are special academic acceleration programs, Pioneer PTA, Community projects and even a Substitute Teaching program where parents of students can be substitute teachers!
